TWiT.tv

As I am currently starting up a project based on the Catalyst framework, I spend some time reading about catalyst. One of my colleagues pointed me out to a netcast about catalyst worth listening to. Not only was this netcast quite interesting, it was a great fun, so I took a look around at The TWiT Netcast Network with Leo Laporte. After finishing the complete set of Floss Weekly I went on to this WEEK in TECH, which may take me quite a while, since there are more than 120 episodes to consume running about one hour each. Great stuff!

You finished the entire collection of FLOSS Weekly? Wow, you must have nothing to do, or a daily commute of four hours each way. :) Oh, if you *really* want to have fun and lose time, the Daily Giz Wiz http://twit.tv/dgw is awesome.

As I don’t have any mobile audio device, I don’t listen to netcasts during my commute. I also have some things to do, so it isnt’t “nothing to do” either. The “problem” is that the stuff at twit.tv is highly addictive, so it’s really all your fault. Anyway, I didn’t regard finishing FLOSS Weekly as lengthy. But my current plan actually does include some things I would consider lengthy. My current plan looks as follows.

    - Listen to all episodes of ‘this WEEK in TECH’ (after listening to the first few episodes I got somewhat addicted to the voice of John C. Dvorak, which leads to the next two items in this list)
    - Listen to all episodes of ‘tech5′
    - Watch all episodes of ‘Cranky Geeks’

I swallow some of those episodes until I fall asleep and one or two right after waking up. After reading your comment I tried the Daily Giz Wiz. Guess what! I added it to my queue. Damn it!
